This place is half an hour from Port Macquarie on the Central Coast. Nothing fancy, just a shot of the small towns from up on the mountain and a coast that kept strecthing into the north.

Favourite Architecture

Petra 

Even though this building is ancient and classical in nature, it is really amazing how they created the intricate facade by carving it directly from the cliff side.  It uses a very unique way of manufacturing a building, by beginning with a solid and removing the negative space to reveal its form -the contrast between the rough surface of the rock and the smooth carvings emphasising this feat.

Previous Art - Maple Apple

This piece was made in high school for my art diary cover. I really like the colour combination chosen for the apple skin/maple leaf and the background, and feel they compliment each other pretty well. I was really fascinated by the illusion created by the superposition of the two objects, and that it could be viewed from opposite angles and still retain its form.
